Important Considerations of the Qidi Plus 4 Pika:
- The stock Qidi Plus4 heater is incompatible: use the included Bambu-size heater.
- You will need to re-use the stock thermocouple.
- The hotend is 500 °C rated. The silicone sock has a long life up to 320 °C, and a reasonable, limited life at 330 to 350 °C, where it will be a consumable.
- Currently, we do not offer "prebuilt" heater+thermocouple combos, the included heater will need to be soldered/crimped into the existing harness.
Before you install
- Hot-tighten before your first print. Nozzles ship hand-tight. With the hotend installed, heat above your hottest print temperature (300 °C covers most filaments) and snug the nozzle with a 6 mm socket to 2 to 3 Nm.
- Pack the heater in thermal paste and seat the stock thermocouple fully. Never put paste or anti-seize on the nozzle threads.
- Run a PID tune after install. The 88 W heater is stronger than stock.
- Print PLA and PETG with the door or lid open. Long prints in a closed chamber can heat-soak the hotend and clog.

Compatibility
This product is drop-in compatible with the Qidi Plus 4, copying mounting location, installation method, and thermocouple.
Currently, the stock heater does not fit (its too large) and so we supply a compatible heater that for the time being will need to be spliced in manually.
At a future date, we may source drop in electronics, but at this time slight modifications are required.
Flowrates
Your filament and setup may vary. Copper & CHT nozzles will flow more than hardened steel in general.
Current testing: Up to 45mm3/s with the stock extruder + CHT with ABS.
Generally, the Qidi Plus 4 is extruder limited.
